Official City of San Antonio July 4th Celebration – 2015

Bring the entire family and join us for the biggest and best party in town celebrating our nation’s birth and our freedom. On Friday, July 4th, families are invited to participate in a fun-filled day of games, food and musical entertainment. The City’s official July Fourth Celebration is a FREE event sponsored by the San Antonio Parks Foundation, in cooperation with the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department. And with the City’s permission, this year’s celebration will include those rockets’ red glare!

The City of San Marcos is hosting the most exciting community independence celebration along the banks of the beautiful San Marcos River. This FREE event will feature live entertainment, food booths, children’s activities, children’s costume competition and parade.
Summerfest will be held on the grounds of San Marcos Plaza Park, same location as Sights of Sounds of Christmas. Rain or shine, festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a variety of musical and family entertainment until 10:00 p.m.

Every year ON July 4th since 1992, the Lockhart Chamber of Commerce has had its annual Fourth of July Fireworks Extravaganza in the City Park to celebrate our Nation’s birthday. Thousands come to watch yearly and the event would not be possible without the help of many generous sponsors. This year our Gold Sponsors are the City of Lockhart and First Lockhart National Bank. Our Bronze Sponsors are Bluebonnet Electric and Sage Capital Bank.

Red, White and Buda – 2014

Where: Buda City Park

Children’s Parade is free. No registration required. Children line up in the parking lot across from Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant beginning at 8:30AM with their decorated bikes, wagons, scooters. Parade begins at 9:00 down Main Street to Buda City Park. Trophies will be awarded for each of the following categories: Most decorated, Most Patriotic and Most Creative. Children that receive a red, white and blue hawaiian lei have won a trophy and need to stop by the Pavilion stage at City Park immediately following the parade to receive their trophy! Free children’s activities from 9:00AM to 2:00PM at the park (bounce house, water slide, magician and Cabela’s BB Gun range). Paid concessions will be available. The Buda Fireworks show will be shot off from City Park area beginning at 9:30PM. Come join us early for more free children’s activities from 5:30PM – 9:30PM (dry and wet inflatables). Kerrville 4th of July Celebration – 2014

July 4th is less then a month away and there is a lot of great projects happening in Louise Hays Park which is home to the annual event. Rest assured that the celebration will still be happening despite park construction. Due to the multiple exciting projects such as the River Trail and Park Improvements in Louise Hays Park, the event is temporarily relocating to the adjacent Lehmann & Monroe Park. The 2014 July 4th celebration, Kerrville’s 4th on the River will be held on Friday, July 4th.
