Quick Tips for Getting Started on Your Home Purchase

Buying a home can be a complex process, but it doesn't have to be. With a little preparation, you can save a lot of time and hassle by having all of your documents ready when Max Leaman needs them.

In order to expedite the paperwork process, start gathering the following items:

Salaried or Hourly Borrower:

1. 30 days paystubs
2. W2’s for the most recent 2 years
3. Most recent 2 months bank and/or brokerage statements (all pages)
4. Most recent retirement statement
5. Photo ID

Self-Employed Borrower:

1. Most recent 2 years personal and business (if applicable) tax returns (all pages)
2. Include any 1099 forms (if applicable)
2. Most recent 2 months bank and/or brokerage statements (all pages)
3. Most recent retirement statement
4. Photo ID
